She graduated with a PhD from https://crowley-long.company.site/College, Cork, where she lectured for ten years before relocating to an 18th Century rectory on the Wicklow border where she lives surrounded by her horses, dogs and assorted pets.
Jacinta exhibits widely, her work being shown in the Gormley Gallery, Dublin; The Lee Gallery, Cork; The Forge Gallery, Collon, Co. Louth; The Narrow Space Gallery, Clonmel, William St Gallery, Kilkenny, together with one woman shows in various other galleries and locations around Ireland.
She has been part of group shows at the Mall Gallery, London; Christies, London; The Palace House Gallery, Newmarket, England; The United Arts Club, Dublin and the Salon de La Rochelle.
Her paintings are in many corporate and private collections in Ireland, America, Australia, and throughout Europe.
You can follow her on facebook at Jazz Crowley-Long.
Due to Covid 19 all shows and exhibitions are currently cancelled. It is hoped that the "new normal" will be in place in time for the Kilkenny Arts Festival in August. Once the 2 km movement restriction is lifted it will be possible to view paintings with appropriate social distancing at the artist's studio at any time, by arrangement. In the meantime an online virtual exhibition has been set up online to enable patrons to view and purchase paintings. These can be delivered worldwide by courier. The gallery/shop is at https://crowley-long.company.site and accepts payment via paypal. Your support for all artists during these difficult times is sincerely appreciated.
The Painting at the Rectory masterclass weekends last year have been a great success. Further courses and workshops will take place later in 2020, once restrictions are lifted. In the meantime masterclasses and demonstrations via zoom are planned. Contact Jacinta via this site if you are interested in being included on a mailing list for these events.
